I purchased a car on ebay from Suttonz this week. Unfortunately, it did not go well. Suttonz left out important information which they subsequently added when I refused to take the car. The car was described as being in "very good condition" and from the outside, it was quite good. But inside, the smell of dog and mould was too much for me to sit in even for 1 minute. The stench subsequently went into my jacket and we could smell it in my own car on the way home. Read our correspondence and judge for yourself. Unfortunately, I paid the deposit on the phone via Visa and they refused to give me a refund. I posted a few images, the first is the original advertising, the 2nd is when I asked for a refund and stated the reason. The 3rd is their new advertisement in which they did mention the dog smell. However they lied about my reasons for not completing the sale. I also included images of the car that I took showing excessive rust on all exposed metal inside the car. The person had said that it was full of mud from the dogs that use to live there. You can see their claw marks all over the inside window. The wet dog mouldy smell was just too much and had got into all the fabric and under the plastic floor.-------------------------------------------------------------------After they saw this review, the deleted my photos showing the internal rust as well as the correspondence. The only faults i can find is the interior fan doesn't work on number 1 but works fine on 2 and above. The interior had been in wet and mouldy conditions for an extended period of time, so much that almost all exposed metal shows signs of rust. The mud and foul smelling water has got into all the seats and under the vinyl flooring. The smell of animals was overwhelming which was not mentioned in the description and I could not even sit in it for a minute let alone a 30 mile daily commute as stated in your advert. One of the rear seats latch was not working and quite dangerous and should have been fixed with the MOT. The exterior and engine looked fine though. Please refund my deposit of 50 as there were major issues not mentioned in your advertising. The timing belt and water pump have been replaced in December 2015 so not due until 2020. The previous owner had a dog and looks like he/she has chewed part of the seat (see pic). The offside rear tyre which was advised on the MOT has been replaced.I have been using this car a my daily runner and have found it really comfortable and a really pleasant drive for my 30 mile commute. Also, although we have had the car cleaned, there is a bit of smell of dog in the car but we are airing it and it is clearing.Please note: This item has been relisted due to previous winning bidder expecting no marks on an 11 year old car. There will be age related marks and wear and tear so we reccommend you view the car before bidding.
